The third book in the bee series introduces another female bee, Bee-verly. Like Bee-trix, Bee-verly has some difficulties often seen in Autistic children. Bee-verly becomes very upset when Bee-trix says that she doesn’t struggle with anything just because they are different. This book promotes a fourth unique presentation of Autism and introduces the idea of ear protection for children who experience sound sensitivity. With the rate of girls and women diagnosed with Autism increasing, this new chapter in the series embraces the idea of multiple presentations within both genders. Like always, the book avoids labels, opting for a more relaxed writing style to promote friendship and inclusion.
